Research

My research interests are oriented towards making intelligent unmanned vehicles. I am currently working on Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and autonomous surface vehicle (ASVs). The topics that span these vehicles are:

• Guidance and Control
• Path planning
• Task allocation/Coalition formation
• Multi-vehicle coordination (single class and multi-vehicle class)
• Collision avoidance using sonar, echo, and vision sensors
• Target tracking
• Intelligent algorithms for navigation in unstructured environments
• Human-robot interaction
